Course Prerequisites:

Age Limit: Must be between 17-21 years as of September 1, 2024. A 3-month relaxation is allowed.

Marital Status: Applicants must be unmarried.

Gender Required: Males

Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan. Dual nationality holders must surrender their foreign nationality upon joining.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have completed FSc (Pre-Engineering) or Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) with a minimum of 65% marks in the following subjects:
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry / Computer Science / Computer Studies

• Candidates in their final year of FSc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with at least a 65% mark in the first year can apply with a hope certificate issued by the head of their educational institution.

Physical Standards:

• Minimum Height: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)
• Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit as per the standards of the Pakistan Army Medical Board.

Selection Process:

• The selection process includes an initial written/online test, followed by a physical test, a medical examination, and an interview.
• Successful candidates will then undergo an ISSB (Inter-Services Selection Board) test and interview.

Training Period: Candidates who are selected will be required to undergo a training period at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).

Educational Benefits: Selected candidates will receive free education in engineering from prestigious institutions affiliated with NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology) and a monthly stipend.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to register for the TCC:

Online Registration

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Pakistan Army at https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/.

Step 2: Select the Direct Short Service Commission option.

Step 3: Fill out the online application form with your personal and educational details, including degrees, certificates, CNIC, domicile, and address.

Step 4: Make sure you have an active email account, as you’ll receive information about test dates, schedules, and payment methods via email.

Offline Registration at AS&RC

If you prefer not to apply online due to internet limitations or other reasons, visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC).

Bring along all the required documents:

• Educational certificates
• CNIC (if you’re under 18, use your father’s or mother’s CNIC)
• B-form
• Birth certificate
• Six attested colored photos (attested by a Gazette Officer)

If you’re a repeater (previously applied), bring three copies of your documents and the original ISSB “Not Recommended” letter.
